Results from factor analysis depicting the relative contribution of each insulin-like growth factor (IGF) measure to two independent resulting factors in BREAST Stamp Project participants. IGF, insulin-like growth factor; IGFBP, IGF binding protein; factor 1 was positively correlated with IGF-I and IGFBP-3 and inversely correlated with IGFBP-1 and IGFBP-2; factor 2 was positively correlated with IGFBP-4, IGFBP-5, and IGFBP-7. The proportion of each analyte was determined as the ratio of the factor loading to the sum of absolute values of factor loadings. *IGF measures that were significantly involved in each factor.
