TM6 mouse mammary tumor incidence following supplementation with Se-methylselenocysteine (MSC). The latency period for tumor appearance in the 3 ppm Se group was delayed by 2 weeks compared with the first tumor appearance in the 0.1 ppm Se group animals. At the end of 23 weeks, 0.1 ppm Se group had tumors in 22 of 26 mammary fat pads compared with tumors in 16 of 26 mammary fat pads in mice fed on the 3 ppm Se-diet.
