ER and PR were considered positive when >10% cells showed staining, HER2 was considered positive when IHC showed 3+ staining (>30% positive cells) or CISH showed gene amplification. Triple negative tumors were negative for ER, PR and HER2. CD44+/CD24- immunohistochemistry was assessed on serial sections and positivity was expression in >10% cells. B - Breakdown of basal markers.
