Subcellular localization of ERα is altered by the impairment of S -nitrosothiol homeostasis. (A) To determine subcellular localization of ERα and p53, estrogen-deprived MCF-7 cells were exposed for 6 hours to the indicated treatments and stained for ERα (green) and p53 (red) immunofluorescence and counterstained with 4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI; blue).
