Western blot analysis of six paired samples (1–6) of normal and tumour tissues (a representative western blot of total 56 paired samples is shown). Fifty micrograms of the total protein were used in this assay. The bands of the CTCF 180 kDa and 130 kDa isoforms were quantified and their additive values were normalized to the corresponding values of α-Tubulin used as loading control (bottom panel).
